Arum Han studied marketing at Hanyang University in Seoul and enjoyed a successful career as a product planner in the retail industry, having worked for, amongst others, Lotte Home Shopping, and DecoOne. In 2011, she founded an online clothing shopping business, which she operated successfully for 6 years. In 2017, Arum co-founded WeCrest, where she handles human resources, finances, and fundraising activities.
